First remove keys from ignition, then remove positive battery cable from the battery(Red cable or marked with a + ), then remove the black or negative cable, remove all brackets that secure battery to holder, remove battery and BE VERY VERY CAREFUL NOT TO SPILL ACID ON YOURSELF!!!!!!! ANY SKIN CONTACT OR CLOTHING CONTACT SHOULD BE FLUSHED WITH WATER IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!), Replace with new battery, reconnect the securement brackets, install black or negative cable, install the red or positive cable. WARNING!!!!!!!...DO NOT LET THE WRENCH CONTACT ANY OTHER METAL ON THE CAR WHILE IT IS BEING USED TO REMOVE THE RED/POSITIVE CABLE.....YOU COULD CAUSE YOURSELF SERIOUS INJURY AND OR BLOW UP THE BATTERY....JUST TAKE YOUR TIME AND USE COMMONSENSE AND CAUTION AND WEAR A PAIR OF SAFETY GLASSES AND GLOVES AND DO NOT HOLD THE BATTERY AGAINST YOURSELF WHILE YOU ARE CARRYING IT. THE BATTERY IS FULL OF SULPHURIC ACID!!!!!)
