The battery is very easy to get to actually. Its located on the right side under the chrome cover directly under the seat. Try using a battery tender to charge it up you may not need to replace it at all. If that does not work again remove the above-mentioned cover and the seat. You will need a extension for your rachet set. Then undo the bolts holding it into place from the right side and top. it will slide out to the right where the chrome cover was..
