In the trunk, you'll find two screws that, once loosened, will allow you to remove your light assembly. Take the bulbs out - I replace them all at once so not to have to do this again soon - and reassemble. Tom Pay It Forward
i am assuming that you are asking about the 3000gt brake lights. well here it is for 91-99 all models 3000gt`s replacing the brake lights is very easy with the back hatch open stand against the rear bumper of the vehicle and look down in the trunk area,on the interior plastic covers/trim there are 4 little bolts that you turn by hand(they are made of plastic)remove the square plastic covers from the trim and look inside(behind the trim)and you should see/feel two light build harnesses there is 2 per side on the 3000 gt twist them and pull the bulbs out they should be cheap and easily found in any parts store
This is not how mine work, I have to remove the covers in the turnk and then use a nut-driver (10mm) to remove 2 nuts and pull the housing assembly away from the car. then you have access to the lights.
1.Open trunk/liftgate.On sedan models remove the cover for access to the housing that contain the bulbs for the brake, tail, turn and backup lights. 2.On station wagon models remove the cover for access to the running lights.Remove three screws and rotate the housing away from the body for access to the brake, tail, turn and backup lights 3.To replace any rear bulbs, rotate the bulb holder 1/8 turn counterclockwise and pull it out of the housing, then push in on the bulb, turn it counterclockwise and remove it from the holder. High-Mounted Brake Light 1.Open trunk/liftgate 2.On sedan models the light is mounted on the rear package tray shelf, while on station wagon models the high mounted brake light is mounted to the underside of the liftgate glass at the top 3.Remove the screws and detach the cover from the brake light to access the bulb 4.Twist the bulb holder counterclockwise to remove it then pull the bulb straight out of the holder
