Easiest to remove the lock via 2 Phillips screws inside. Screws allow a trim ring to come off and the lock set will push through the front of the lid. Have lock open and set to current combo. There may or may not (fallen off) be a red fiberboard tab inside. Remove tab if necessary and slide the piece it is holding in place over and down. Adjust the combo to whatever you want, move the metal piece back to lock the combo in, and re-install the red tab if desired. Test combination BEFORE replacing lock. Installation is reverse of removal. Good hunting.
