It depends what year and model you have. Most civic just have a screw that holds the lens on. Once you unsrew it the bulb can be pulled out and replaced.
Pry open the cover and replace with replacement bulb.
Simply look behind the light (from inside the trunk or under the hood), and you access the bulb from their. turn the backing of the bulb to release it and simply change the bulb. A simple fix.

Remove the two or three plastic nuts in the corner where you are changing the bulb. Pull back the felt liner and then remove the three 10mm nuts. The light assembly can then come out for you to change the bulb.
Are you talking about changing the light bulb or the actual corner piece? If it is just the bulb simply unplug the light bulb and replace it. if it is the light i believe there are 3 screws that hold it in 2 screws on top by the engine bay and 1 on the outside bottom corner

Hi you gota law on your back under the corner thers a flap take that cover off reach your hand inside and twist the bulb socket out its a 881 bulb.
