The lens is only available as the whole fog lamp. You have to remove the bumper to replace it.
I believe it is 2 torx screws inside the tailgate holding the assembly. Have to replace the whole assembly.
On 2000 Dakota Sport you lower the tailgate and there are 2 Phillips head screws that you remove and the whole tail light module comes out. I don't think you can replace a single lens, you have to pay for a whole new module.
THERE IS NO PARKING LIGHT LENSE FOR THE REAR. IT'S ONLY THE TAIL LAMP ASSEMBLY!
I Figured it out. The dome light lens is hinged on the passenger side so you just pry the driver's side of the lens out and down to replace the bulb. The lens does not come completely like on other models.
Remove 2 screws that hold lens on, remove lens, then you should be able to change bulbs without any problems
Remove the dome light lens, pull the old bulb out, and replace with new bulb; replace the lens.
The tail light is an assembly. The lens is not removable. To replace a bulb you remove the assembly by opening the liftgate, removing two fasteners, and pulling the light rearward.
The taillights are an assembly. The lens covers can not be replaced separately
unbolt the light from inside the trunk and pull it out and then you will see how the lens comes out.
If it is on the outside, you can clean the light with any window cleaner. If it is on the inside of the light, you need to replace the light. You can buff it out. Go to any parts store and ask for a product that is used just for this purpose. You do not have to replace the lens.
You have to cange the whole light.
you will have to disassemble the rear lens by entering the trunk. If the question really is for a 1998 Ford Tempo, then the answer is - you can't because the last Ford Tempo model year is 1994!!
