How do you change the fuel pump in a 2002 S10 extreme pickup truck with a 4.3 engine ..it wont start or turnover like its out off gas?

If it won't TURNOVER then it's not the fuel pump.
You need to check the starter with a test light. to be sure you have power going to it
When you try to start the engine.
Need to check you battery cables and make sure they are CLEAN and tight. Hot wire
going to starter, Check starter end of cable too. Check ground end of cable where it goes to the engine, make sure all that is clean and tight.
Is your battery good ???
