If you are going to do this yourself, you will need to remove the gas tank from under the truck. I did this on my expedition but to my advantage it did not have a lot of gas in it at the time. if the tank is full or over half full. i would suggest you have someone help you. the fuel pump is inside the tank, you will need the tool for disconnecting the fuel lines pretty cheap at most auto parts stores. if you decide to do this let me know and i will send you step by step instructions. pretty self explanitory once the tank is down....
