How do you change the fuel pump on a 94 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer?

You have to remove the fuel tank. drain as much gas as you can from it. take the filler hose loose. There should be two bolts through two straps that hold the tank on. remove the bolts and lower the tank just enough to remove the hoses and wires. Lower it the rest of the way. Unscrew the top on the tank and remove the assembly. the pum,p is right there. Install the new pump being careful not to get crud in the tank. Reverse the removal order, fill with gas and that's it. It sounds easier than it is. Good luck.
