I recommend buying a Haynes or Chilton shop manual and following their
directions.
This is a fairly big job which involves removing the fuel tank
from the car. There are some serious safety issues involved here.

Not sure what is wrong with your car but if your fuel pump is not working check your fuse for your fuel pump. check your fuel pump relay on your firewall. low or no fuel presser change your filter.
