first tilt your steering wheel all the way down, then locate the black plastic trim that surrounds the guages. then remove the 2 screws that hold it, screws are facing up on the top part of the trim. then insert a screw driver and pry it downward to break it loose and remove it. you wil then see 3 screws holding the cluster remove those and pull the cluster out and then unplug the 2 connectors. you should then be able to pull it out and in the back side locate all the bulbs, rotate them cc wise and pull them out.
note: if the cluster is hard to come out remove the silver trim piece to the left of the cluster by prying it out
to change the lights you remove the dash cluster and replace the bulbs. the number for the bulbs are 197
the fuses which opperate the brake lights are located in the fuse box in the engine compartment. the relays are to the left of the clutch in a white connection cluster.
Bulbs may be burnt out.
cluster lights dont work also tails ive change the light switch still no lights.
It sounds as if you have an electrical problem that needs to be checked. You may even have the wrong fuse for your brake lights.
It requires more power, RPM goes down when demand for power is higher especially if lights are on or air conditioning
Behind the instrument Cluster. Or remove it and replace the Cluster.
On the lancer its easy just pop the trunk open find out which lights are out and take the screws out that hold the lights in place and pop the bulb out that isn't working by turning it and replace it.
it means that one of the indicator blubs have blu which causes them to flash quickly
You can't just replace the lights you would have to replace the whole control cluster.
The most common reason for all of your dashboard cluster lights to go out is a blown fuse. Change the dashboard cluster light fuse.
Remove the dash and remove the instrument cluster, the lights are in the back of the cluster.
