The diagnostic port on a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo drive is located on the lower kick panel on the driver's side. It is just below the left spark plug.

I think your valve cover gasket may be letting oil leak out onto the hot engine. It then "burns" off releasing the smoke you refer to. If you replace the valve cover gasket it should correct the problem.

The speaker covers are held in with a screw, remove it and tilt it out away from where the screw was. then remove the screws holding the speaker in and remove the speaker.
