If you have a "composite headlight" (one housing with high-beam / low-beam lamps inside) you have to locate the two retainer bolts for the housing. To do that, open the hood and look above the headlights; you should see two rods sticking up that have little rubber caps on them. If you remove the caps, you should see that the tops of the rods are hex bolts and the rod is actually a long, skinny bolt. Use a small socket and unscrew the bolts, one headlight at a time so you can reference the other side to get it all back together again (where the bolts go back in can get confusing if you do both headlights at the same time). After you remove the bolts the headlight will pull out of the front of the vehicle, exposing the wiring to the lamps. Unplug the lamps (again, one at a time so as not to confuse which plug goes where) and then turn the bulb base until the lamp comes out of the housing. Be careful not to touch the glass on the replacement bulbs; the oils on your fingers will concentrate the heat and cause the lamps to burn out prematurely. The outer lamp is the low-beam driving lamp and the inner lamp is the high-beam lamp. If you're replacing all of the lights at the same time, you will need to buy four lamps.
