Not unless you try to change the whole front end of the car.
Twist the socket 1/4 turn and pull out.
No
Yes it will if the 96 is a standard Mark Vlll, if the 96 is a LSC model it won't.
All models and years of the Mark Viii are v8's
Gen 1 or 2? With the drivers side you will have to remove the battery and then the nuts to the lights, disconnect the wiring and remove.
If it is your dims, then it will require a Headlight Assembly Kit. Mine cost $1,800 for my '97 Mark VIII. You have to have everything replaced and they're kind of hard to find. The $1800 included parts and labor. It's mighty expensive but you can't drive a car at night without headlights! Alternative (and much cheaper unless you get a ticket from a cop) is to just use your brights if you don't feel like dropping 2 grand on headights.
Look under the hood in the fuse box that is usuallly were it is.
No
They didn't make 1997 Mark Vii's? Maybe your talking about a mark Viii? To add to this question.... The Mark VII and Mark VIII are equipped with different engines. Mark VII came with Ford 5.0 H.O. V8 and a 2.3l Turbo Diesel in the earlier models. Mark VIII came with the 4.6l V8
