How do you change the headlights on a 2001 Grand Am GT?

ok this is kinda hard to explain but i will try.open the hood and there should be a plastic peice right where the front of the hood is in the motor compartment on top of the radiator.it has to come off i ended up cutting the plastic mounts off because i knew that there was really no need for the piece.if u want it left on then u will have to bend up the side where the lights are located and to the very edges of the lights towards the side of the car there are thin metal tabs pull them up.shoud be by some white plastic and the light swing outwards towards the cent of the car .twist the cap carefully as not to break the thin delicate plastic behind the main hi/lo beams which is towards the ouside of each side of the car unplug then plug the new ones in and reverse the process
