How do you replace license plate light on 02 aurora?

Remove the two headlight mounting bolts and slide the entire headlight assembly forward. You can then disconnect the Bulb from the sockect and remove the bulb from the headlight housing. Installing is just as easy. Install the new bulb, connect the blulbs electrical connection and re-install the headlight. Should take about 5 minutes all togather.

Remove the connector from the back of your 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora running the light. Push the light in and turn at the same time, to remove it. Reverse the process to install your new running lightbulb.

Pop your hood and locate the low beam bulb in the headlight housing. Unplug the burned out bulb from the wires connecting it to the vehicle and discard it. Plug the new bulb in and fit it into place.

First of all, I will say I am a very small, cute and prissy WOMAN. If you are a man asking this question, be embarrassed!

The4 headlight on your cougar: Open hood.... Headlight assembly: Left or right had four bolts on it, you will need a TORX, not sure the size, get a multi-kit and you will have the one you need. Take off the four bolts two are located in plain sight on top and two are a bit harder to find, but I have confidence in you. The unit also has some plastic clips, no need to remove these, just pull hard straight out and they will pop. Now, the back of the unit has a black cover with a wire holding it on. You have to lift up and pull out on it and it will come off. This is where you will find your bulbs. The first one you will notice IS your low beam the one farther in and harder to get to is the high beam. Gently screw the gray unit that you can see to get the bulb out. It really only twists one way. To replace pull hard on the black plug going into the gray bulb unit. They WILL separate. Just a matter of tugging and wiggling. You SHOULD have the new bulb by now, purchased it at an auto parts store, they can look it up, you do not have to bring in the old bulb! Take the new bulb and plug it into the same socket that you pulled the old one out from. NOW check the lights BEFORE you put it all back together!!!! IF the low beam now works... Put it back together in opposite order of taking it apart. If NOT? Check you manual, it has a fuse diagram. Usually 16 is the fuse for driver side low beam... look the others up. If the fuses are fine, check the BIG BLACK plug in the unit, that holds all the wire, (the wiring harness) use a flashlight and make sure all the wires are in place and that none of the prongs are bent. Hey sexy little woman. I will say including my wife I have met woman that know alot about cars. I myslef know alot about cars and Id feel ashamed if that was me asking that question. I'll sum it up for everyone. If you cant change it then you deserve to pay someone to do it for you. but have no fear most big parts store chains will change your headlight bulb for free if you buy part from them. grats to the woman answering the question lol. nice to see a few more woman that know stuff about cars other than my wife :)

The low beam of the 2007 Altima can be replaced from the rear of the headlight housing. Unplug the wiring harness from the bulb, then twist he bulb to unseat it from the housing.
