On the underside of the bike, near the front, there is a panel with 3 bolts. Remove the panel, then you'll need an oil filter wrench (the kind where you attach a socket wrench to the top). Be sure to remove the old o-ring before you replace the filter, otherwise the panel will crack when you go to screw it back on.

You will have to remove the Left and Right engine farings and the faring at the Top ( around the radio controls ) then remove the gas tank...air filter is under the gas tank..(the best place to hide the filter) may want to change the fuel filter as well...when disconnecting the fuel lines be sure to properly re-connect them. This is a bit of a job. Removing all the screws and popping off the faring sides. Should take about an hour.
