Pull the plug on the base pan. Then pull off your oil filter. Reverse steps to re-install
Allow time for the amount of oil coming out of the pan to decrease to a point where it is no longer a solid stream. When pulling off the oil filter, keep it upright (common sense) until you get it over a pan. Also make sure to rub some oil on the filter gasket before screwing it on. Don't tighten it too tight. You shouldn't need any sort of wrench, as hand-tightening is tight enough and a wrench could damage the filter.
