There are two bolts, two brackets, and a pressure hose which have to be removed in order to separate the Power Steering pump and the reservoir. The bolts are removed with a 13mm box end wrench, the brackets (top and bottom)of the reservoir are removed by using a flat head screwdriver to pry them loose. The pressure hose is removed by using pliers to decompress the ring clip around the end of the hose.

The 1997 Chevy Cavalier power steering hose is held in place with swivel nuts. Loosen the swivel nuts by turning them to the left. The power steering hose will come off. Reverse the process to install the new power steering hose.
