The tail lights are held in place by 3 connectors. One connector is toward the front of the tail light (on the side wall of the VAN) and it simply is inserted into a slot in the side wall of the van (you can not see it when looking at the tail light assemblage). The other two connectors are in the rear of the van. You must open the rear tailgate. After opening the tailgte, you will notice two round caps inside the tailgate area - adjacent to the tail lights (two on the left, two on the right. These caps are located at the same height as the tail lights. They are the tops of plastic pegs that hold the tail light assembly in place. These caps pop out. You'll need a pliers or large screwdriver to pop them out. Once both caps are popped out, simply rotate the tail light assembly away from the side of the van and the third connector at the front of the tail light assembly will release. Each of the three lights in the tail light have round "pinch" caps. Simply pinch the side of the cap with the bad bulb to pop it open. pull out the old bulb. Push in the new bulb. Push the "pinch" cap with the new light bulb back in place (you'll probably hear it click back into place). Next align the front connector of the assembly with its slot and put the tail light back in place. finally, pop the two connectors from the tail gate area back in place. NOTE: these are similar to molly screws - they "fan out" once inserted. The peg will have two pieces that inter lock when inserted. Make sure the peg is fully extended. about half way along the peg is a ridge you can use to push the lower half of the peg into place. then push the "cap" into place.
