i have a 99 Buick regal that i just changed the rear speakers in. you will need to do the work on the inside of the car for the most part. take out back seats and there are some pins that hold the cover on. when you take out the panel make sure to unhook the brake light if you have one. with the cover removed the nuts are able to be taken out. i think it was a star wrench that i used to remove the nuts that hold them in. be sure to unhook the speaker now and with the nuts removed the speaker can be pushed up to the inside of the car and removed.
