There is a release clip inside the arm that you press down gently to remove the blade. Do not do this in cold weather because it may crack. When you have the blade off, you can take it to the Toyota parts dept. and buy the insert. The parts guy will show you how to replace it Using just a little pressure, you pull/slide the insert off the blade and then repeat this to install the new insert. Don't bother buying a generic replacement. They will not fit as well or perform the same.
