window regulators on a MGM are a time consuming task.
you need to remove inside door panel, witch has a few hidden fasteners installed.
behind door handle, inside courtesy lamps and also in arm rests.
once the panel is removed you must detach the door glass from the regulators regulator will come with the motor attached-to it.
some regulators are riveted to the door frame.
you will have to drill rivet heads and replace with bolt and nuts on assembly.
remove motor from regulator and reassemble.
The motors were installed with rivets at the factory. You need to use a drill and drill out the rivets to remove the motor. The replacement motors come with screws and bolts to replace the rivets.
In their pickups and cars, not since 1972.
if you are asking what controls the speed at which your power window opens and closes, there is no 'controler' the speed is slowed down by factors like: out of adjusted windows, bent regulators, badly worn regulators, worn out motors or hot motors. on most older cars the drivers window is slower than the passangers window for resaons stated above. Hondas are famous for bent regulators and poorly adjusted regulators. hope this helps.
Not enough information. Which actuator motors are you talking about, and what about them?

It's market is dying off. The Mercury brand is just a rebadged Ford which costs more. The Mercury Milan is nothing more than a rebadged Ford Fusion. Mercury Mariner is a Ford Escape. Mercury Mountaineer is a Ford Explorer, and the Grand Marquis is a Ford Crown Victoria. In the past the Mercury was a totally different car but in the last few decades that has not been true. Therefore Ford can save money by eliminated a duplicate brand of Ford cars it already builds.
