you have to take the starter out of the car and dismantle it.....it's an integral unit
on the starter
The solenoid is part of the starter.
mounted on top of the starter.
Starter solenoid is attached to the top of the starter, the starter can be removed and taken to a parts store that has a machine which can check both solenoid and starter, in my area autozone does this free of charge
It rides piggy-back on the starter.
This can not be answered, there are many "Solinoids" on this car that do many diferent things.
Maybe on the top of the starter - follow the + battery cable it will connect to the starter relay (solenoid)
allows power distribution to the overdrive solenoid for overdrive engagement.
Pull your starter down, the cylinder on top of the starter that the main 12v cable is bolted to is what you are looking for. jr
between the transmission and the transmission housing
It is located on the passenger side fender firewall behind the battery.
There is no ground wire from the starter. You should have one large wire from the positive battery post that connects to the large stud on the starter solenoid and one small wire that attaches to the small stud on the starter solenoid.
