From memory on my 1.8L Picasso
Start off by disconnecting the battery following the special procedure
The top of the engine is hidden by a plastic cover.
The plastic cover is unfastened via three screws which need to be turned through 90 degrees.
Then you have to detach the cables from and unscrew the coils (two bolts ?)
This gives access to the spark plugs
were are spark plugs in citroen saxo
were is engine cover wot does it do
Spark plugs are hidden under the plastic engine cover. You have to remove the ignition module as well which fits over the four spark plugs.
underneath the engine cover there is a long black box about 2" wide held by three bolts the plugs are under that
remove the coil pack first
take cover off the top of the engine you will then see the coil pack unscrew this with torque screws then lift this off to reveal the spark plugs

when do you change spark plugs
Yes Citroen C3 has spark plugs and there are four. Spark plugs create a spark in order to ignite the fuel inside the engine's piston chamber. When ignited a pressure is built inside and this drives the piston and so the drive-shaft. For each chamber you need one spark plug and since there are 4, you need four plugs.
you need to go to a garage or you could end up frying the spark plugs or something and you would cause more damage to it
To change the spark plugs in a 1997 astro van do I have to change the spark plugs from the bottom of the engine/
