The starter's located directly below the air intake throttle body, on top of the transmission. Removing and reinstalling the starter is not that complicated, the bolts are a little difficult to access, but I did it myself without any real complications. Just be sure to disconnect the battery first.

you will need: 12mm socket 10mm socket 14mm socket ratchet 3" extension unhook battery power remove power cable in top of starter remove signal wire on starter remove the 2 14mm bolts from top and bottom of starter threaded in and through trans pull starter out and put new on in reverse this procedure starter is located a little behind and directly under the distributor on pass side of engine bay on trans
