Raise the lift gate and look on the backside of the taillights. There are 2 phillip screwheads. Remove those screws, pull the light slightly toward the outside of the vehicle, and pull out. When you reinstall them. Insert the tab on the light into the hole which is to the outside of the vehicle and put back in place and reinstall screws. This procedure takes about 5-10 minutes.
The taillights are an assembly. The lens covers can not be replaced separately

Change the sensor located on rear-end housing
The rear, 2 screws and the tail light comes out. The front, there's a small T15 torx screw under the headlight. Then just pull the signal assembly straight out.
