Follow the top radiator hose back to the engine. The thermostat is behind the housing that connects the top hose to the engine block.
In the exhaust manifold behind the engine. In the exhaust manifold behind the engine.
follow upper radiater hose to engine block then you will find it. its behind exhaust manifold at engine, on 3.1.
It is located underneath the throttle cable assembly, behind the exhaust manifold. It is no shade tree mechanic job to replace this.
The Thermostate is located behind the exhaust manifold between the firewall and engine. If you're on the passenger side, look straight down in the second hole in the manifold and there is a metal cover with 2 bolts. That's the housing for the thermostat. took bolts out cant get thermostat out
The front exhaust manifold is right in front by the spark plugs. The rear manifold is behind the engine by the spark plugs.
Behind the exhaust manifold.
ON MY 3.4L ENGINE IT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE RIGHT BELOW THE THROTTLE BODY BEHIND THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. JUST FOLLOW THE LARGE HOSE THAT COMES FROM THE DRIVERS SIDE OF THE RADIATOR. IT WILL CONNECT TO THE FITTING THAT COVERS THE THERMOSTAT.
Valve cover gasket
Behind the exhaust manifold, next to the alternator.
You have to remove the part of the exhaust manifold that wraps around the driver's side of the engine, which is no easy task! The thermostat housing is behind that manifold. There is a small cast iron pipe leading out toward the radiator with a radiator hose attached to it. Follow that iron pipe in toward the engine, and you will see where to remove the two bolts to get to the thermostat. The designers did not think about the auto owner on this one.
Exhaust manifold or exhaust pipes. May be one behind the catalytic converter.
on the rear exhaust manifold, directly behind the motor
