drain the radiator at least 1/2 way (drain plug is located on the backside of one of the lower corners of the radiator). undo the two bolts that hold the thermostat housing down (thermostat is located at the engine side of the upper radiator hose). carefully remove the old thermostat, you may have to relieve the pressure behind the system. also note orientation of thermostat before so you put the new one in the same direction. clean off the mating areas of the housing making sure the o-ring came out with the old thermostat. install is the reverse. don't forget to top off the fluid and check it after a couple of drives to ensure all the air is out of the system.
