The longer side of the thermostat with the spring on it faces the engine. The small side that looks like it comes to a point faces the radiator.
Spring side would go down. dome or point would face up.
The fuse panel is under the cover above the kick stand on the left side
A side panel near your feet on the driver and passenger side. You have to remove the lower sill cover on the entry way to the door before you can remove the kick panel. The kick panel may contain electrical parts and wiring bundles.
Well maksure there's fuel and that it is on, then you just kick it over using the kickstart on the right hand side of the bike
You hit the gas clutch on the lower left side. Then you switch gears to 2, after that you would kick-start it up and then you fling yourself down a hill and go flying. YOUR WELCOME.
On the thermostat side of shower remove handle by removing handle cap. Once handle is removed if there is a circlip then the thermostat pulls out otherwise will unscrew.
The thermostat is on the water pump.(the left side in the front of the car) 2 screws to take out that's all
I believe you will need to take the front tire off to give you enough room because it is a front wheel drive. Tire on the passenger side should be where the thermostat is located if accessories are on that side.
the thermostat on my 96 is on the bottom side of the water pump. as you face the engine it is on the left side. the large hose that goes to the water pump will attach to the housing of the thermostat. make sure to replace o ring gasket when you change it. it will take some work but it is not as bad as it looks.
The thermostat on a Chrysler PT Cruiser is changed by disconnecting the upper radiator hose, unbolting the thermostat housing, and removing the thermostat. A new unit can then be put in place and reattached.
