How to check the transmission fluid in a 1995 Mazda 626
Start by checking the transmission fluid level. If this is good then replace the transmission fluid and filter. If it continues it needs transmission work.
there's a little spout on the driver's side. (ON THE S MODEL). it's a red tube.
Dexron III -- look in the owners manual section 10 - 4 I think.
Dexron II (or III) is the recommended automatic transmission fluid for a 1994 Mazda Navajo. It requires 3 quarts to do a fluid change.
I was told that if your torque converter is empty it's about 8.5 quarts. If not empty about 5 quarts.
