As usual use caution when working on suspension as parts may have loads present. If the ball joints have never been changed they are riveted in place. You will have to drill them out. Use a very good quality titantium coated drill bit, probably one per hole! The new kits come with bolts so once it is done it is a bit easier. Remove wheel and tire and you should be able to get at everything pretty easily. It is a lot of work and unless you are patient and have worked on cars before it might be money well spent to have it done by a professional.
