valve cover parts and tools requiredim out of the repair deal but you need a valave cover gasket set, a tube of rtv gasket maker (i like the black) and lots of ganas because is going to be time comsuming. you alsow need 3 sizes of Philips #2, 3 medeum flat screw drivers, a set of deep and short standard sokets (chech to see if it is metrick before you buy tools, im not 100% shure) about 3 or four 3/8 extansions for ratchet one 3/8 ratchet (i like the swevel in this situations) one lose 3/8 swevel a crecent range, chanel locks. the rest depend on the rust the vehicle may have. and remember to only hand tight the valve cover screws, be easy turn them until you feal they stop and no more, this is on ruber gasket. if you get the foam gasket turn the screw until the foam is gently compresed.
