What's under the intake is not a hose, it's a pipe which a hose attaches to behind the intake manifold near the firewall. If the hose is leaking, it's a relatively easy task to replace it. If the pipe is leaking, you will have to remove the intake manifold which is not an easy task (minimum 6 hours to remove and replace the manifold!)
On a 4.6L engine, I have never seen a water hose under the intake. Anybody else?
on top of the water pump under the intake water hose.
hard intake hose
coolant by pass hose needs repaced under intake manifold to water 1996 Lincoln town car
There is no hose under the intake. If it is leaking coolant it is because the intake manifold is cracked on the seam just behind the alt. You have to replace the intake with the modified one from Ford. It's a 6 to 8 hour job. Quote:There is no hose under the intake. There actually is a hose under ther intake but I am not sure where it leads. I had a pin hole in mine and have gotten to the hose but have not changed.
The thermostat is on top of your intake manifold, on the front side. Locate the radiator hose that runs to your intake, take the hose off and the thermostat will be sitting on the manifold under the hose.
Under the water neck, where the upper radiator hose to connected to the intake manifold on top of the engine.
follow the top radiator hose to the engine. its under the cover where the hose attatches
It Is caused from The heater Hose Located Under The Intake Manifold ..In Order To repair It You have To remove the Intake Manifold.....
FOLLOW THE TOP RADIATOR HOSE FROM THE RADIATOR TO THE INTAKE, TAKE APART AT THE INTAKE OR NECK, THERMOSTAT IS UNDER HOSE OPENING
under the intake manifold. you have to remove all intake hose and intake manifold itself to get to the starter.
