Its pretty simple to change the water pump on your olds. First you must jack up the motor so you can remove the motor mount on the passanger side of the motor once the motor mount is removed then you have to loosen the serpentine belt. Your water pump is located underneath the alternator. Take and remove seven bolts from the water pump let them hang there while your coolant drains out (takes about 2 min.) put the new pump on,tighten the serpentine belt start your car up and fill radiator with 50/50 antifreeze until it looks like it will go over stop and keep filling until you can see the coolant at the top and won't go down anymore.
