you place a jack under the oil pan raise it up a little, remove the motor mount, remove serpentine belt and belt tensioner completely, remove timing belt cover loosen timing belt tensioner, remove timing belt, take of hoses on both ends of water pump, and remove four bolts that hold it on one is tricky it is under the spout where the hose connects that is closest to the cab.
