There are 2 screws just inside the bed of the truck that you need to unscrew. The light simply pops out when those are removed. Follow the cable to the plug located near the rear wheel well under the truck and unplug the old light. Run the cable from the new light through and connect it to where the old light was plugged in, screw in the two screws and that's it!

pop trunk and locate Phillips head screws right above brake light assembly these screws hold the whole assembly in place. All you got to do is unscrew all Phillips head screws, then the whole brake light assembly folds down, you might have to pry on it a little with a flat tip, then you should be able to get to the tail light from there. Just untwist old bulb then twist new one in.
