For safety purposes, it's suggested that you first disconnect your battery (I didn't).
1) Remove the rubber hood seal from on top of the cowling
2) Remove the wiper arm assemblies (trick is to lift the arm away from the windshield and slide the lock to it's fully out position. This will lock the arm up and release it from the spline. Simply lift up on the wiper arm and it will come right off)
3) Remove the cowl vent screens, drivers side first, then passengers (these are held on by screws on both sides and clips on the drivers side) NOTE: as you raise them up, you'll need to disconnect the washer hoses from the washer jets.
4) Remove the wiper motor housing from the car. This is held in by several screws on each side. You will have to remove 2 screws from the assembly on the passenger's side of the car that's attached to the motor housing to remove it from the vehicle. Before it can be fully removed from the car, disconnect the plug from the motor assembly.
5) Once removed from the car, you can simply remove the wiper linkage cover (snap fit). Once inside, you will remove the linkage retaining clip (that attaches the motor to the wiper linkage) and the three screws that hold the motor in place. NOTE: now is a great time to clean out the entire wiper housing, be sure to clean out the drain on the backside as well. They tend to get clogged with leaves, etc.
6) Put it all back together and enjoy full use of your wipers once again.
