The 2001-2006 Acura MDX's have a proprietary rear wiper and you must either go to the dealer for a replacement wiper blade or you can buy aftermarket "refill inserts" which is just the rubber blade rather than the entire wiper blade and frame.
The wiper arms have disconnected from the wiper motor. How do you reconnect them?
The 2001-2006 Acura MDX has a special dealer-only rear wiper blade. Since you have to go to the dealer for the part, ask them for the procedure.
Unfortunately the 2001 Acura MDX has a special Acura rear wiper that you must go to the dealer to get. There are no aftermarket options available. You can get aftermarket front wipers for a better price however. See sources and related links below.

According to my research, I do not see any aftermarket rear wiper blades available for the 2001-2006 the Acura MDX so most likely it is a dealer-only part, so please see your dealer. Acura did make a change on the 2007-2010 MDX's and the rear blade is rare and hard to find, however there is a less-expensive aftermarket option called a Trico Exact Fit 12-B. But note, this is only for the 2007+, not the 2001-2006.
