The 2001-2006 Acura MDX has a special dealer-only rear wiper blade. Since you have to go to the dealer for the part, ask them for the procedure.
The 2001-2006 Acura MDX's have a proprietary rear wiper and you must either go to the dealer for a replacement wiper blade or you can buy aftermarket "refill inserts" which is just the rubber blade rather than the entire wiper blade and frame.
You don't have to remove wiper arm. The wiper blade will slide out, It has a clicker in the center of the blade that you have to slide it out. Look at it very carefully
how do you replace a wiper motor in a 2000 jetta?
Length is not an issue because its a special wiper blade assembly that you must go to the dealer to purchase. Unfortuantely Acura didn't use one of the 13 common rear wiper blade designs where aftermarket are available. The front wipers are available aftermarket however. See sources and related links below.
Since rear wiper blades undergo substantial abuse - especially in icy/snowy locations - and most vehicle owners do not replace the rear wiper very often, I highly recommend replacing the entire wiper blade assembly (blade and frame) vs. (rubber wiper refill blade). It is only a few dollars difference.Be sure you get the correct-fitting replacement wiper blade. The 2001-2007 Chrysler Town & Country Van takes a fairly standard 16" rear wiper blade and installs similar to the front wiper blades.
The hardest part is finding the replacement blade. See sources and related links below. After having new wiper blade in-hand, press the button or tab where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook on the arm and pull wiper blade out of hook. You may have to rotate and flex the blade to make clearance for the hook.
The 2001 Acura Integra wiper blade sizes are 22" drivers side, 18" passenger side and a 19" rear wiper (if applicable). Do not buy by length-only however. Since there are over 22 different wiper arm attachments - be sure to lookup exact wiper blade part numbers by vehicle make, model and year for the brand wiper you decide to purchase. This ensures correct length AND correct attachment. See Sources and Related Links below for more information.
pull off the wiper blade with and outward motion with your arm and slam the new set of wiper blades back on
You just buy the replacement rubber from the dealer (a few bucks) and slide it in. It is a little tricky since the wiper does not fold out far from the window, but not too difficult. You cannot buy a complete arm that pops right in, like you can for the front wipers.
No Model Given... See sources and related links below and enter not only make and year but also model to lookup rear wiper blade size and type.
