if it's the 5speed there are 2 drain plugs on the PASSENGER side on the transmission the lower is to drain the upper is to fill a 3/8" ratchet fits them it's easiest to use a long clear tube and a small funnel in the engine compartment to fill it till it just trickles out when the car is level for the automatic you would drop the transmission pan drain and clean it replace the filter and gaskets close it back up and fill through the dipstick tube
In the 1993 manual transmission Mustang the capacitie is 5.6 pts.
No dipstick on the manual transmission , fluid level is checked underneath the car at the transmission fill plug
How many quarts of transmission fluid is required to change transmission fluid in a 1993 150 Ford Van?
You Can Put a 1988 Transmission In a 1993 Mustang Body.
Most likely it will take mercon transmission fluid. Not to be confused with mercon V transmission fluid. To be sure pull the transmission stick out and read the side of the stick. It will tell you what fluid to use.
The manual transmission doesn't have a dipstick , the fluid level is checked at the fill plug on the transmission underneath the car
You will have to remove the transmission pan that is on the bottom of the transmission to drain the fluid.
In the dip stick tube on the left side of the engine toward the back. It should be marked TRANSMISSION.
poop
The standard / manual transmissions don't have a dipstick like the automatics do . The standard transmission fluid level is checked underneath the vehicle at the transmission fluid fill plug
Remove transmission oil pan for acces to filter Replace fluid, filter, and gasket
