First, the tranny has to want to change--second the local library should have a shop manual that you can copy the right sections out of,,, it doesn't have to be the same exact model either as the procedure about the same for them all...have fun...:)
4 quarts I had a 2000 eclipse GT
in the transmission!!!
Remove the transmission oil pan for access to filter. Replace filter, fluid, and gasket.
there is no gt turbo. there was only the gs turbo and the gsx which was turboed, the gt didn't come til the 3rd generation eclipse which was in 2000 but 2000+ are all non-turboed.
0-60mph for a 2000 Eclipse GT is 7.0 seconds, quarter mile: 15.4
No, the 2000 Eclipse GT is a V-6 NA engine. 90-99 GST or GSX came Stock with a Turbo.
im about to do a swap on my 02 eclipse gt.. depending on the condition that you want your transmission about 2 grand for the parts and if ur not doing it yourself expect to pay some crazy labor bills cause it a pain in the ass.... u need an ecu (computer) out of an 00' - 04' eclipse gt 3.0 and the clutch assembly shifter assembly slave cylinder all that good stuff.
It's a long procedure. There is a website dedicated to Eclipse owners - www.club3g.com
I believe that is 205 horsepower , for the 3.0 liter V6 in a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT
yes yes
You should be able to.
I have a 2000 eclipse and its under the car to the left. The oil filter is near the passenger front tire. The transmission plug is on the drivers side so they are hard to confuse.
