its pretty easy. First place to look for instructions with diagram would be on the cover of new windshiled wipers that u buy. You just need to press and snap the vipers out of the long rod at the tip. pull the vipers down, inwards along the long rod.

∙ 18y agoAssuming the Elantra is similar to the Accent....I bought new wiper blades from Wal Mart today and changed them on my 2003 Accent. There is a small lever where the blade connect to the wiper arm...depress lever and slide the entire blade toward the bottom of the arm. You might have to exert a bit of pressure. Once off, slide the new blade in the opposite direction and it should snap right on.

∙ 13y agoTake off the cowling, and disconnect the wiper arms from the motor shaft. Then remove the 3 bolts holding the Motor, inside the engine compartment. Make note of arm placement, and cycle the motor before connecting the arm. Wrong placement could damage wiper arms, hood, glass ...you.

∙ 11y agoThe 2005 Toyota Echo has hook-end wiper arms. See the Sources and Related Links section below for wiper blade installation videos and correct attachment/length wiper blade sizes. Also, if you purchase the replacement blades first and there will be additional instructions/illustrations on the replacement packages. Locate and press the tab or button where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook of the wiper arm and pull wiper blade out of hook. You may have to rotate and flex the blade to make enough clearance for the hook to pass through. Very simple.
