Okay! So! Firstly, you must have Google Chrome. If not, you cannot do this.
After your get google chrome, go to the google chrome app store:) Install Stylish (all of this is free, by the way) and then when that is done, click on it. Pick from the many tumblr Dash themes and they instantly change your tumblr :)
1) Download either the Google Chrome browser or Firefox browser, if you don't have one of them already.
2) Download the addon "Stylish" at: either
3) Go to userstyles at tumbl
4) Browse through the themes. Click the link of the one you like the best. There will be a green box on the side. Click the link that says "Install with Stylish". There should be a pop-up that asks if you're sure you want to install the theme. Click OK.
5) Go to Tumblr, log in, and enjoy your new dashboard.
It depends on you theme!
Your Tumblr background can be changed by going to your dashboard and selecting 'customize' from there you select 'appearance' and scroll down the drop down bar until you come to 'background' you can then select an image or a plain background colour.
You can get a program on your computer that allows you to change all sorts of things on your tumblr dashboard. I think it's something like 'greasemonkey' although I haven't used it in a while.
you go dashboard then whatever your tital is then go blog settings then it sais change photo
if you have a theme installed, you cannot change your background in any way. but if you do not have a theme installed, you go to dashboard>preferences>customize>appearance> then there should be a button that says Upload Background Image
you can't .. :(
Go to your dashboard. (Tumblr.com/dashboard)On the right, it will say "Following __ blogs." Click that.It will bring you to who you're following. Your Tumblr crushes should be on the right top of that screen :)
Go to your tumblr customize html. Press Ctrl F and type 'background' (without quotation marks) if you find something under the .body like this: background: #FFFFFF; (or another color code) change it to: background-image: url(YOURIMGHERE); If that code is already there, then just put the URL of the image in the brackets
Go to Tumblr Dashboard >> Your Blog >> Customize Add about me in the description box and save.
1) Go to dashboard 2) On top of page, click on your Tumblr title (next to where it says dashboard) 3) Click on settings :)
You can change to a downloaded background through your xbox's settings so it displays behind your dashboard.
Their posts are streamed to your dashboard
Well, my opinion is that the dash is really nice and make us all equal no matter what we post! But if you want to change it you only need to google 'tumblr dashboard themes'.
