Look in the temporary internet files on the hard drive of the computer to find the cache memory in windows 7. There you should be able to see the cache files.
The only memory on the CPU is cache memory and it is only dependent on the CPU type and generation you use.
To check a computer's physical memory, depending on your version of Windows, you can usually just go to the search bar (click the Windows logo in the lower left corner of the screen and/or keyboard; the search bar is on the menu) and type in RAM; it will show a list of options; click on "Show haw much RAM is installed" or something similar. This is the amount of physical memory you have.
You can check your computers memory by going into the BIOS menu.
You will have to check the manufacturer's documents to find this out. There are too many models out there to give an answer here.
Since most cache memory is located on or near the processor (say, inside a slot device for slot-packaged processors), you'll need a new processor entirely. Some older computers allow you to upgrade a cache chip on the motherboard, so you can refer to the computer documentation to find how to upgrade that chip.
This question should be more specific so that someone can more easily and accurately assist you. However, i will attempt to answer your question assuming that your are asking about the L1, L2, and L3 cache memory types. L1, L2 and L3 (or level 1, level 2 and level 3) are different memories seperate from the processor, but it is the memory more easiest and quickly accessible by the processor, or cpu. These memories are used by the processor to store common instructions, images..etc. so that it can easly and quickly access it whenever required to. First the processor checks the L1 cache memory (usually the level with the lowest amount of memory), if it doesn't find what it needs there then it searches through the L2 and then L3. If what the processor needs isn't in the cache memory, then it will check the HDD and RAM.

Try to install Windows Media Player 9 if u do not have ... or re-install it again if u have it. Check the memory of your machine ... also check the Virtual Memory settings of your machine ... make sure Virtual Memory (like swap memory) is about 3 to 4 times more than your actual RAM Memory. E.g. If ur RAM is 1 GB then make the Virtual memory about 3 to 4 GB. P.S:- If u have 1 GB of RAM then U won't have these memory issues ... :) Duuuh
All versions of Windows from Windows 95 and later use virtual memory. Virtual memory is a complex and sophisticated system, it is NOT the pagefile. This system is always in use and cannot be disabled.
For the purposes of this question I'm assuming you are running a PC running Windows 7 Save your work and close all browsers and any other applications apart from Windows and run the 'Windows Memory Diagnostic' app. To do this type 'mem' in the Windows 'Search programs and files' box that appears when you click the Windows icon (bottom left of your screen). This is enough for Windows to identify that you want Windows Memory Diagnostic. Select it and run it, this will restart your PC and automatically check your RAM for problems.... At least this way you should know if your RAM has a detectable fault.
