b2200 are like an older Jeep on resets. under the hood up against the fire wall, most likely near the passenger side in the corner. their should be a series of wires probably run to a fuse box or along those lines. in that area will be a wire with a plug on the end of it that's not being used. if its not there then look under the dash on the driver side. as far as the tool goes you should be able to jump the connections to get the check engine light going. the codes will be displayed there as a series of flashes and pauses

Where do you check the check engine light codes on a 1988 acura legend?

To check the check engine light codes on a 1988 Acura Legend, you need to locate the diagnostic connector under the dashboard near the driver's side. Use a jumper wire to connect the two terminals marked "TEN" and "GRD." Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position without starting the engine, and the check engine light will blink to indicate the trouble codes. Count the blinks to decipher the specific codes, which can then be referenced in a service manual for troubleshooting.
