take it to your local shop have the guy plug it in to his computer it could be anything

You shouldn't have to, check for vacuum intake leaks

Idle speed is computer controlled and is not adjustable. Is the speed is incorrect, you have a malfunction with the idle airflow control motor, another sensor, or the computer could need reset. A weak battery can cause the computer to "forget" how to idle. Unhooking the battery for five minutes resets that.
The first thing to check is the radiator fan.

Probablty low on coolant. Check the level after the engine has cooled.
