Check the doorknob. A wooden door may not feel hot, even if the other side is burning (wood insulates). However, the metal doorknob, which goes all the way through the door, DOES conduct heat very well. If the doorknob is hot, so is the other side of the door.
touch it. if it' hot don't open it
Check the Blender door... Also check the temp knobs they make be broken.
there are some people who hot rod a 4 door, but not many. basically a 4 door is not a hot rod. more like a dork rod
Remove the door panel. Unscrew the door check bolts in the door jamb, 2 in the door and 2 on the car frame. Remove the check unit by pulling it through the door and out the door face. Install new check through the door and replace door panel.
Check the blend door under the dash on the F150. Check the vacuum system as well. The vacuum controls the blend door and controls the heat as well as air from the defrost.
Remove inner door panel and replace complete door check assembly
You check the transmission fluid when its hot
start by checking for a vacuum problem. check to see if blend door is working properly.
blend door is possibly stuck or linkage is broken. turn fan off and switch from hot to cold slowly while listening under dash. you should hear the door close if not check there firstType your answer here...
Firstly check that the contents are not pushing against the door the check the rubber door seal that its not damaged which then causes the vacuum to drop - It is this that hold a door closed. Check also the the fridge is level. If its leaning forward then the door will open on occasion
The blend door could be sticking on the truck. The vacuum system could have a leak. Or the cables to the heat valve could be malfunctioning. Check these three areas to fine why your heater is stuck on hot.
Yes, there are several aftermarket locking gas caps, check the link I posted.
