The manual for my '95 240SX SE states: "The recommended fluid is type DEXRON II or equivalent." I have had trouble finding this type of power steering fluid. I *think* that is because it's actually an automatic transmission fluid.
If your 93 Nissan Pathfinder transmission won't shift into overdrive, check the transmission fluid levels. Ensure the fluid is at the proper level.
