With the engine off, open the hood, on the engine left side is the oil dip stick with knob, pull the knob and a metal stick will come out.
Wipe the bottom dry with a tissue, replace the stick in the pipe, pull out again, inspect the level, should be between two small wholes in the stick (1/2 inch distance apart), in a crossmatched area on it. Should be toward the upper one. Do not overfill.
For the transmission fuild, you can check the same, while the engine is running. The dip stick for the transmission is located in the rear center of the engine, a black round inconspicuous metal knob, unmarked. You check it the same way, with the engine running at idle.
